Spring and Big Loops have Sprung!

Spring is in the air and so were our kayaks! Stephen Wright and I headed over to the Pigeon last week on the chance that we would catch a release – and got lucky. The 1600cfs flow proved perfect for getting the hard technical tricks and combos we needed to practice but also for just BIG FUN AIR!
The hole was deep enough that Stephen and I both took out our Murky Waters Carbon Rockstars – which was a real treat for whipping the boat high and hard. Mike Patterson had his carbon Jed flying out there as well and not one of us hit bottom. This is truly an amazing spot to play. Can’t wait to go back!
