Personal bests, first descents, and the most incredible kayaking of my life, 2018 was my favorite year so far. Check out my year-end review video and some of my favorite highlights from my year below, enjoy!

Here is my highlight reel please check it out and share:

The 2018 kayaking season started off with a trip to Colorado to compete in several kayak competitions including the Gopro Mountain Games. Here is a picture of myself getting demolished in the “8-ball” kayak race at the Gopro Games. Racers try to make it to the finish line while other kayakers known as 8 ballers simultaneously ram into you!

After a few competitions, I headed over to the Yule Creek Gorge and ran some of the scariest and most fun whitewater of my life. Check out the video and picture below.

After Colorado, I headed back down south to my home state of Alabama and competed in some local competitions, including the first annual Ocoee River Championships.

After some local competitions around the south, my 2018 competitive season was over. I turned my attention to getting some first descents in my home state of Alabama, I even used a jetboat to get to some of these hard-to-reach waterfalls! Below are a few pictures and a video from my favorite first D adventures of this past year!

So now that a new year has started I am setting my sites on new goals and adventures. The U.S. team trials are around the corner and are on the top of my priority list. I am starting my training now on a bunch of rivers in the southeast with the goal of winning the 2019 World Championships. Below are some pictures of myself getting my playboating mojo back.

Thanks everyone for reading I hope you enjoyed. I look forward to seeing everyone out on the water and making 2019 our best year yet!
