Swimming is a crucial step in the development of learning to kayak, and if you ever plan to kayak in whitewater then swimming in whitewater is also a must. There are do’s and don’ts for swimming in whitewater and I try to break them down here for you and your children, while teaching safety as well keeping it fun.
