Have kayak, will travel.  My adventures routinely have me chasing redfish in the marshes of Southeast Louisiana, smallmouth bass in Ozark rivers, largmouth bass in the cypress swamps near my home, and trout in cold clear mountain water.  The Cuda 12 stays on the truck rack ready for any last minute adventure because no spot is off the grid when you have a kayak

My love of fishing started at the age of 7 in a canoe with my father and brother floating and camping in the Arkansas Ozarks.  A few years later, my dad purchased a bass boat and we began chasing largemouth bass on a weekly basis.  I've been enjoying the water ever since.  In 2010, I transitioned to a kayak as my vessel of choice.  For more than 30 years, I've been boating, kayaking, canoeing and wading using both conventional and fly fishing tactics to chase anything that will put a bend in a rod.

I'm a Veteran of the US Navy and currently reside in Southeast Arkansas with my awesome wife, Sarah, and our two beautiful daughters.  I'm a modern dad (stay-at-home) who's dedicated to introducing my family to the outdoors, traveling, and exploring.  Most adventures happen in Arkansas or Louisiana but I'm always look'n for that next cool location.  I live an active lifestyle, paddling, swimming, running (marathons/halfs/etc.), camping and other random stuff that keeps me off the couch.
