Hey folks! My name is Clay Grace. Born and raised in southeast Alabama, I grew up enjoying summers with my family on the back waters of Lake Eufaula at my grandparents’ cabin. It was during those early years that my grandmother taught me to fish and where I developed my love for the outdoors.
I owe my introduction to kayak fishing to my brother. After our old motor boat kicked the bucket, he bought a fishing kayak. I soon followed suite and purchased my then 10 year old son and myself kayaks. We were instantly hooked and started floating any streams we could find making kayak fishing a family affair.  We quickly learned the importance of being able to stand and fish. We upgraded to Jackson Kayaks and have been fishing rivers in search of trophy fish ever since.
Kayak fishing rivers has opened up a whole new world for me over the years. It’s an adventure more so than just the next fishing trip. Outdoor photography and fly fishing are two loves I developed after getting into kayak fishing. I also try to do my part in the conservation of the rivers and fish we long to catch. God’s creation is a beautiful thing, and I can’t think of a better way to soak it all in than on a river in my Coosa HD.
