Some people golf, some people read and others play video games; I feel I was born to put the smack down on big river bronze backs. Ever since my childhood, I’ve been chasing these river monsters. It wasn’t until 2011 that I got my first kayak and it was then that my passion came into focus. Starting with short excursions on local lakes and rivers, I realized a kayak was the perfect tool to help me push the boundaries of what was possible.
Born in the mountains of Puerto Rico, I came to the U.S. as a small child. Living in New York City gave me little opportunity to fish as the lake in Central Park was not the greatest. But when my parents moved to Pennsylvania, it was game on. With age, wisdom and professional growth my opportunities to follow my passion have improved. This has landed my butt squarely in the seat of a Jackson Coosa HD, a versatile fishing platform, perfectly suited to getting me into the diverse waters of south central PA.
I have also recently combined my love of the sport with a little competition and helping veterans, family, friends and neighbors experience the amazing natural world just a paddle stroke away. I have made a ton of friends fishing the local Kayak Anglers tournament series, organizing fundraisers, and participating in charity events.  A perfect day for me is getting out on the Susquehanna River at the crack of dawn with a couple of fishing buddies and hooking into a slab smallie on a top water. Hopefully, I’ll see you out there.
